Alex Ao

Alex specializes in the registration, regulatory approval, and marketing of pharmaceuticals, health products, and medical devices in Macau. His years of experience at Pfizer Macau have given him an in-depth understanding of Macau’s healthcare system and market.

He subsequently served as Vice Chairman and CEO of Macau Dr. Kuan Biotechnology, where he focused on integrating the Group’s industrial chain, covering the certification, production, and sales of health products and medical devices.

Alex also serves as Vice Chairman of the Macau Chinese Medicine Industry Association, Chairman of the International Association for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health Industry, and Director of the International Portuguese-Speaking Entrepreneurs Association. Through these roles, he has developed extensive knowledge of trade, regulatory, and certification systems across Portuguese-speaking countries.

He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Macao Polytechnic University and a Diploma in Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University.
