Pure Global's new CTO, Ran Chen, brings over a decade of experience in building and scaling machine learning products.
Pure Global is proud to announce its new Chief Technology Officer, Ran Chen. Chen brings over a decade of experience in building and scaling machine learning products. He recently served as Director of Machine Learning at Tubi TV, where he built the machine learning infrastructure from the ground up and led the deployment of more than 70 real-time models that enhanced content personalization on a major US streaming platform.
Medical device regulatory approval is notoriously opaque and labor-intensive, often delaying patient access to critical technologies while costing manufacturers tens of thousands of dollars. At Pure Global, Chen will lead the development of agentic AI systems designed to perform essential regulatory tasks, including documentation translation, device classification, gap analysis, and regulatory submission generation. He will build industry-tailored solutions that adapt to regulatory environments across more than 30 countries where Pure Global has established legal entities and partnerships. By strengthening the company’s underlying data infrastructure and accelerating tool development, Chen’s objective is to help clients obtain market access faster and with greater efficiency.
Chen’s appointment is a critical step in Pure Global’s strategy to integrate advanced AI into the medical device compliance process. His expertise in deploying AI at scale is expected to enhance the company’s ability to deliver measurable operational improvements for clients, streamline regulatory workflows, and enable faster product launches worldwide.
